Bit Project LLC ("Bit Project", "we", "us") runs this website at bitproject.dev. We are based at 1227 SW 3RD AVE, MIAMI, FL 33130. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@bitproject.dev.

The short version

We do not sell your data and we do not run ads or trackers. The only cookies this site can set are for Google Analytics, and they load only after you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time.

Cookies and analytics

When you accept, we load Google Analytics (gtag.js), which sets a small number of cookies (named _ga and similar) to tell returning visits apart. Google Analytics helps us see which pages people read and how they found us, so we can improve the site.

Through Google Analytics we may collect:

• Pages you visit and how long you stay
• An approximate location based on your IP address (we do not store your full IP)
• Your device type, browser, and screen size
• The site or search that sent you here

This information is grouped together and used to understand trends. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Your choice and how to change it

We ask for your consent before loading any analytics, and we treat Accept and Decline the same way: your choice is remembered on your device and we honor it. If you decline, we do not load Google Analytics and we remove any analytics cookies already set.

Changed your mind? Open your preferences with Cookie settings, also linked in the footer of every page. We ask again automatically after twelve months.

Who else is involved

Google processes the analytics data on our behalf. You can read how Google handles it in the Google Privacy Policy. Our site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs to deliver and secure the pages. We do not share your information with anyone else, and we never sell it.
